मानसून सीज़न में देशभर में सामान्य से 15 फीसदी कम बारिश होने का अनुमान है। अगस्त के दौरान होने वाली बारिश से सोयाबीन, धान और कपास की फसल को फायदा मिल सकता है। आंकड़ों के अनुसार खरीफ में दलहन की बुवाई घटकर 72.79 लाख हैक्टेयर में हुई है,पिछले साल यह 87.53 लाख हैक्टेयर में की गई थी।
